The next ITI Medical & Pharmaceutical Network will be on 9 December 2022, on the topic of restorative dentistry.
Our speaker is Prof. Barry F. A. Quinn, PhD MSc BDS LDS MRD FDS FFD FDTFEd FHEA FFGDP(UK) FCGDent FNCUP, Professor of Restorative Dentistry & Dental Education, Honorary Consultant in Restorative Dentistry and Academic Lead & Head of Restorative Dentistry at the School of Dentistry, University of Liverpool. Professor Quinn’s research has involved working with inter-professional teams in developing haptic simulation for dental, medical, nursing and veterinary professionals. Apart from more than 160 publications, Professor Quinn was the clinical lead in the HapTEL project, a haptically enabled virtual reality dental simulator, which won several awards including a Medical Futures award in 2011 as well as KCL research project of the year.
